Lee M. Sloneker and Edward N. Schabert founded Firenet Systems, Inc., in 1993 with a solid 30 years of experience installing and servicing fire alarm and fire extinguishing systems. Today, with factory and NICET certified designers and technicians, we offer over 250 years of combined experience in fire alarm, fire extinguishing, mass notification, and special hazards systems.
We are fully staffed and qualified to provide service on all fire and life safety systems. One call to Firenet will cover all your service needs. We provide solutions for property protection with life safety systems and service designed specifically to meet your individual needs. We are special hazards systems specialists.

Lee Sloneker, President
Lee has been in the fire protection industry for over 32 years marketing, designing, installing and servicing fire detection and suppression systems. Lee enjoys providing quality products that protect people, property and mission critical equipment. Lee insists that his employees are passionate about their work and enjoy what they do. When away from work, Lee enjoys time with his wife of 36 years, kids, and grandchildren, and the contemporary music ministry at his church.
Ed Schabert, Vice President
Ed is the co-owner of Firenet Systems, Inc. He has been continuously involved in many aspects of life safety and the high-risk fire protection / suppression business for over three decades. Ed Schabert and his wife of 34 years enjoy travel and remote outdoor destinations.
Donald P. Egan, Sales - Special Hazards
Don has served the local fire protection and construction industries for 32 years and joined Firenet in 2009. Devoted to special hazards, Don's specialties include marketing multiple clean agent and detection systems for mission critical facilities. Don has been a member of various local construction associations and currently serves as president of the Minnesota Chapter of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE). Don and his wife Pam have five children, one grandchild, and when time allows, both enjoy cruising on their Harley motorcycle.
James S. Smith, Wisconsin Office
Jim is licensed in Wisconsin as a fire protection designer. Jim holds a Level IV certification in special hazards fire protection, and a Level II certification for fire alarms from the National Institute of Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET). Jim has been an industry professional since 1972 and joined Firenet Systems, Inc., in 2004.
